“When we saw Emily Stedman’s mural, “We Can Build a Nest Here“, it sealed the deal for us,” Chav said. “We knew we found a neighborhood we can call home.” He hugged Briaz, his wife, around the shoulders. “After looking all over the place, this is where we belong.”
Setting up the new household turned out to be more complicated than either Chav or Briaz expected. “Previously, we’d each moved in with other people, where all of the utilities were already in place, the water was turned on, the waste management situation was dealt with: we’d never done any of this from scratch before,” Briaz explained. “I spent a lot of time on the phone, getting accounts set up and services started. By far, the waste management call was the easiest!”
“Obviously, you have to have your trash and recyclables taken away,” Chav said. “Finding a Yonkers Waste Management company was easy. Several people recommended Westchester County Waste Management to us, and Briaz called them. It was quick and simple to get set up with them taking away our regular trash, and it turns out if we have any debris from renovations and remodels, they’ll take that too – we just have to call for a special pickup.”
“Waste management is one of those behind-the-scenes, unseen things that really make life much more pleasant. Knowing you have a reliable Yonkers waste management company committed to picking up on time every week, even when the weather is terrible, means that’s one less thing you have to worry about,” Briaz said. “Westchester County Waste Management does an excellent job. If you’re new to the community and you’re trying to discover who you should get set up with, I’d definitely recommend you give them a call. They’re friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the service can’t be beat!”
